Gadabout SalonSpas Achieves Worldwide Recognition

Tucson, Ariz.--For years, Gadabout SalonSpas has been recognized as the premier salon in Tucson, and now it’s being recognized as one of the top salons in the world. On June 9, Frank and Jana Westerbeke of Gadabout were honored with the Global Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Salon Leadership at the 2008 Global Salon Business Awards in Hollywood.

Gadabout was selected for rising above expectations, delivering exceptional service and an impeccable product to its guests, exhibiting integrity to both staff and guests and sustaining a loyal following and a prosperous business.

The nominees in the category were judged on their financial stability, leadership, client philosophy, marketing and community involvement. Also considered were leadership style, employee well-being and satisfaction, development, innovative compensation and benefit programs, rewards and recognition.

More than 3,000 salons from 23 countries were nominated for the 2008 Global Salon Business Awards. The elite panel of judges was comprised of industry experts, UCLA faculty, successful business entrepreneurs and members of the international trade press.
