GADABOUT IS A CUT ABOVE

Tucson, Ariz.--Gadabout SalonSpas hair designer Elaine Lim was notified this week that she is a finalist in the first stage of the 2008 National Intercoiffure Nouveau “Creative Cutting” contest. Currently a stylist at the Gadabout Oracle Road location, Elaine graduated from the Gadabout Intern Program in October 2007. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to compete for this important award. “Gadabout has helped me the develop the skills and confidence to participate in this competition. I am so grateful for the opportunity” said Elaine upon hearing the news. Intercoiffure is the most exclusive organization of independent salon owners in the world and works to maintain high standards of service and professionalism in the industry. Two Gadabout stylists, Taylor Wingate and Brittany Marschke, were winners in last year’s competition.

Elaine will now move on to the second phase of the contest in Las Vegas in April where she will have an opportunity to present her winning hair style in front of an audience of her peers from around the world. Winners of that competition will move on to the finals in New York in the fall. (Photo of Elaine’s winning creative cut is attached).
